A while back I was speaking of kitchen inspiration for a house my rents were renovating..well the kitchen (finished with dark granite and white cabinates..yum) as well as most of the other construction is complete. I am now starting to look at the landscaping. I want it to feel very tropical and foresty with lush layers and textures of greenery and pops of colour hear and there. I'm thinking mixtures of palms, Elephant Ears, Ferns, Anthuriums, Gingers, Banana trees etc. Above is a bit of inspiration I pulled together. There is a great reference of tropical plants here that will really help when selecting specific plants from the nursery.
