Day 6: After packing up all of our luggage we head to Paddington Station to catch our train to Kingham where Dane's friend will pick us up. As we travelled through the country i was blown away by all the green and beauty..heaven knows I was in for a real treat when i arrived in Gloucestershire...pure bliss. When we arrived at Danes dwelling it was sweet beyond words with wild roses growing up the side (seriously come on right?). I unpacked my stuff and we walked over to the Daylesford Organic farm shop which was located right in his backyard.we decided to grab some lunch. I had a heritage tomato salad with a mint and lemon vinaigrette..oh and feta (of course)..BEST Salad EVER! It was accompanied by some comp. bread and rose frizzante from chateau Leoube. Perfect beyond perfect meal...not to mention is was totally organic! After lunch we picked up some organic ingredients from the farm shop such as beef, onions, garlic tomatoes etc. for us to cook some dinner. It was then time for a walk, we drove up to the Bamford's house (or should say mansion) where I was introduced to everyone. We then took a stroll through their perfectly manicured gardens which were accented with white swans, coral statues, and wooden swings. It was then about time for dinner so we walked back home passing the many picture perfect dwellings and English cottages. We cooked up dinner and then ate it outside on one of the many picnic benches.

Day 7: The sun was shinning (finally right), I quickly woke dane, showered and headed down to the farm shop for breakfast. I had a freshly baked lemon tart with a cappuccino, Dane had a pain au chocolat and an espresso. We were ready to hit the road {after exploring some more gardens like their kitchen and rose garden} Our first stop was Bouton on the water. This exquisite little town with a continuos river, brick bridges, english stone cottages and not to mention tons of wild roses was so peaceful. Elderly couples walking their dogs, having coffee, dining....simplicity at its finist. It was then to Stowe on the wold. Another charming small town. Its city Square was full of antique shops, vine covered houses, beautiful bed and breakfasts and narrowing allyways. Dane and my self walked around and had lunch in a traditional english pub. On from Stow we drove an hour or so to Stratford where we walked around and gazed up at Shakespeare's birthplace. We sat at a cafe right in front of the house and had some coffee and just....relaxed. After a while we headed back to the car and drove home where we went for a lovely country walk. It was soon time for Dinner so we drove to Kingham and grabbed some traditional fish and chips which we took back to the house and ate on a picnic bench which was completely surrounded by wild flowers. The sun slowly set and the colours brought about a perfect ending to the perfect day.

Day 8: We woke to rain (such a surprise), walked over to the daylesford cafe and had some tea and croissants before heading back to london, but this time via car! We thought it would be a good idea to stop through Oxford for lunch..little did we know what the traffic would be like. Oxford is a very beautiful and historic town with some of the top academics having gone to school there. We found a park directly in front of a pub called Eagle and child, so we thought we would give it a shot. Little did we know this pub is famous having a number of literary connections including J.J.J Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. They and other writers would meet here and nicknamed the pub "The bird and the baby". So glad we landed here! After a set of bangers and mash and a pint or two of beer we were London Bound. Now it took us literally 6 hours to get there. The traffic was unbelievable! But it was great time to simply enjoy each other's company. Back in Knightbrige we hung out with Olivia. On the last day in England we went to Convent Garden and simply relaxed.

The trip was so amazingly fabulous and it was so sad to leave..but all good things come to an end..
