This weekend was my birthday weekend and it was soo lovely. Why I had my
tea party last weekend was so I could do just what I did this weekend ...relax. Saturday I woke up and had some fresh fruit and tea with Dane. After opening all my wonderful gifts I headed off to a lovely and gorgeous brunch with my uncle and then ended up at a fabulous beach house down St. Philip with some dear friends. I relaxed, played some tennis (yes this beach house had tennis courts) and enjoyed a glass (or two) of wine.
Yesterday I had work but in the afternoon Dane and I headed to pebbles beach for an afternoon swim. The sunset light was amazing. When we got home I quickly whisked up some Amatriciana (A roman pasta dish) and then we watched a film. All in all I would not have chosen a better way to spend 23rd birthday. And better yet...I am headed to
NYC on Thursday!!!!
